REBUILDING TWIN SCREW KOMPRESSORS
The Opcon Autorotor typeTwin Screw Supercharger is one of the most reliable, durable and trouble free supercharger types available. Built to exceed OEM standards, it will give many years of trouble free service. Bearings are lubricated for life. Substantial bearings and shafts, precision helical gears and precision rotors spinning within close proximity (but not in contact with) the billet housing make it a very durable combination. As with any mechanical device, it cannot last forever. It is designed to last the life of the engine. Twin Screw
Supercharger problems are mainly caused by the unit being
subjected to excess heat and/or rpm beyond the design limits. |
