The full airflow potential
of your carburettor(s) may be limited by the contraction effect
in the inlet airstream caused by an abrupt entry into the
carburettor mouth.

INCREASED AIRFLOW CAN INCREASE POWER
POTENTIAL
Flow bench tests have proven that a suitably shaped entry to the
carburettor can result in a gain of 6% in airflow over a
straight carburettor entry and almost 12% over a straight 'ram' tube.
Why not gain the most benefit from
your carburettor investment??

Mixture Adjustments:
Due to the increased airflow available
most vehicles will require mixture enrichment.
It is advisable to check the air/fuel ratio thru' the working
range of the engine.
Some engines may require a change in metering needle (or
jets) to maintain optimum mixture. |
